VSOJ is a 2018 release. Kept in fridge.

Looking for various TH hops, Swish, etc. No Trilium please. Figured 1:6 ratio depending on beers.

If I’m off please let me know. Thanks.

VSOJ is worth so much more than 4 cans of random hops. Whoever jumps on this freebee first is a lucky winner.

Like how many cans worth for one VSOJ?

In general, probably at least 8.

Personally I think you should aim for the higher sought after/more limited hops first, being specific with what you want most.

This is partly because it's one of my favorite beers of all time, but a lot of other traders value it highly as well.

So are you saying 8 of the limited TH ones, or a few limited and the rest standards for the 1 VSOJ? I've got a trade in the works, hence the interest. It's going to involve some other Rev BA stuff too. Neither of us have a great grasp on what's "fair" here.

Basically, I'm saying, I wouldn't trade VSOJ. :heavymetal:

I get that 100% and don't necessarily disagree at all. But my friends and I have all had it many times and at this point I kinda feel like spreading the wealth. Oh, and...

THIS! I wanna White Claw style open a Jjjulius with a hand cannon and chug it.

I'm a little hesitant to say you can still get 8 of what used to be the more limited TH hops, but...that stuff has been hanging around for quite a long time and they are putting out a shit ton of beer that's pretty easily accessible for anyone that wants it in that general area now. I don't see the harm in asking for a good 8 pack, although maybe you'll need a lesser plus to sweeten it.

It should still feel like a steal for a TH trader these days. They've been so spoiled in the past, with the ability to obtain just about any beer in the trading world for a few cans of hops.

For those few traders who live within a 30 min radius, I would agree. For the rest of us who drive 90 min to wait in line (depending on the day) for another 90 min, and then drive another 90 min back home down the shit ass mass pike, it’s hard to agree that just bc they rake in the dough with their delicious beer and put it back into the brewery - and Red Sox season tickets 2 rows behind the plate - that these hops should have less value now. They are still world class hops.

That being said, if you don’t land any TH before the next time my wife lets me neglect my responsibilities as a father and make the trek, I’ll pick you up 6-8 hops of your choice for 1 VSOJ + maybe a couple other nice revolution or other beers. No doubt.

    C'mon man

One person can walk out of there right now with over 350 cans, 12 bottles and a bag of coffee beans.

That includes many multiples of cans that used to be 1 or 2 pp like Gggreennn, Jjjuliusss, and Aaalter. Not to mention more than a few brand new creations.

Limited, it is not. Especially considering it's now a bonafide beer destination, damn near theme park, and it's not, and hasn't been for a long time, just New Englanders hoarding and trading these cans. The Boston and greater New England region has very heavy tourism and business travel. People are buying this stuff and distributing it all over the world, more easily than ever. On top of the fact most people have pretty decent to high quality NE style hops in their own backyard, TH value is pretty close to if not straight up cost these days.

Alan Beerspan hath spoken. Who am I to argue?

They are pretty much the Disney of Beer, aren’t they? It’s almost like their beer, which is limited to purchase at the brewery, Pats games, and Phish concerts at Fenway, is world class. Though for sure more available to us Beer 1%ers (Thought, until I’ve leared all the acronyms, I still consider myself Beer Middle Class).

I’ve traded 50$ worth of TH for a beer I could have purchased for 30$ on mbc, free shipping. But I like trading and accept that TH doesn’t have the value it once did. For now. The BA shall soon arrive...

Not disputing it's world class for the style which they have admittedly perfected, but it is not limited. No matter how hard you try to reinforce it, the trade value has crashed, and most have accepted that.
