Updating my breweries visited list and forgot to add a visit to a brewpub in Topeka about five years ago. Looking at Google images, it was not Blind Tiger and I can find no other history of closed brewpubs in Topeka.

I do recall it was a fairly nice place with really tall interior and felt a bit more upscale. In a parking lot and might have been other retail in the center/area. Did Blind Tiger have a previous location that did not look so rustic? Was there another place in Topeka or am I going slightly crazy?

Thanks is advance for any help.

I think you are thinking of Blind Tiger at 37th and Kansas and as far as I know it's still open. It is as you describe with a large parking lot and the old White Lakes Mall across the street. There is also a Blind Tiger on the north side just off US-24 and it serves Blind Tiger beer but it does not have a brewery. There was a brewery downtown at 8th and Kansas called Barley's I think, but it has been closed for some time...probably eight years or more and there would be no parking lot there.
