One of the greatest beers I ever had the pleasure of tasting. The reason it was only a one-off was because cloudberries are very expensive since they only grow in the arctic. Also, the brewpub brewer that developed the recipe at the time stopped working for Dogfish a while ago.

If anybody have or will ever see that Dogfish brew please please let me know!
Regarding Nogne, I spoke with head brewer a while ago, they said they never used it themselves. Although he pointed me to Cantillon as well. He also said that they brewed with lingonberries and sea-buckthorn fruits...Not to mention local-to-me salvia apiana

Not quite sure as I didn't weight them, I ordered 3 500ml for 2 gallons.

Okay, thanks. That's definitely helpful. Would you use the same level of fruit if you did it again?

I just tracked the bottles of Cantillon Soleil De Minuit to be sold in Sweden. I will have someone over there next month so hopefully I can land one of those.

If I recall correctly, these were all sold for on site consumption only... Could be wrong though :/

I have a bottle of cloudberry liqueur hand-delivered from Finland. I seriously doubt I'll every run across a beer made in the US from them. I do really like their flavor, it's sort of ethereal and otherwordly....which is why I went through the trouble of having someone bring this bottle back for me.

yeah, that's exactly what I've heard. But I was told by someone directly at Cantillon that they have some bottles at one of the bars in Stockholm...we'll see in 2 weeks
