As some of you may have experienced, the Cloudflare Global Network is currently experiencing major issues. The impact is wide, sporadic, and affects BeerAdvocate and countless other sites, apps, and services that use Cloudflare.

Site is accessible here in Finland, but I'm going through the Helsinki (HEL) data center and that's been "operational" all day.

Maybe it's a different kind of issue since the recent slow page turing problem, because everything is normal for me.

FWIW, BeerAdvocate was down for just a little while around midday in Western Europe.

I also peruse another forum, that isn’t experiencing major issues either.

The internet can burn to the ground, so long as BA lives on.

Most sites worked (including BA) worked fine, only 1 was unreachable. But even they were online before I left for work an hour ago. Should be a non-issue by now.

Yep. Here's the last update from Cloudflare...

    ###

Update - Cloudflare services are currently operating normally. We are no longer observing elevated errors or latency across the network.

Our engineering teams continue to closely monitor the platform and perform a deeper investigation into the earlier disruption, but no configuration changes are being made at this time.

At this point, it is considered safe to re-enable any Cloudflare services that were temporarily disabled during the incident. We will provide a final update once our investigation is complete.
