    Can this be confirmed? Should I leave work immediately and hit up the packie? Or better yet, convince the gf to grab dinner at Sunset? Is this the Buffalo Trace batch, or is there another drop coming later this year too?

    A tiny bit delayed. Was bottled today, will be on shelves next week. Buffalo Trace is a separate batch/beer, will be later in the year or early next.

    Ah, I see my mistake - Twitter sandwiched the "Buffalo Trace" Undead Party Crasher post between Flight of the Angry Beast and Breakfast Exorcism. Just got them mixed up...

    Still, can't wait for both!

    Logistical question - if you're planning a release for, lets say a Tuesday (9/15) and a store that carries your bottles generally gets their deliveries on Wednesdays, would they get their shipment of said bottles the week before the release and sit on them until 9/15, or would they get the bottles the day after the "official" release? Thanks!

    MA release only. And I must say it really is an amazingly great beer.

    A little BE love...

    I picked up a few bottles this week. 2.0 just as good as 1.0, IMO. One of my favorite beers from this year. Clown Shoes is really hitting their stride right now. One great release after another.

    I need to get a few more bottles before they disappear again.

    Just moved to New Hampshire after being stationed in Germany for the past 9 years and I'm trying to learn where the best bottle shops are. Anyone know of one that might have this beer near the NH border?

    I just moved away from there, but if you're in southern NH, Beer Store in Nashua is probably your best bet. Whole Foods in Nashua and Bert's Better Beers in Manchester may be worth a look, too. Further north, I'm not so sure.

    EDIT: Duh, just read above and realized this is a MA-only release. I never really bothered crossing over (was in Boston enough to hit up the good bottle shops there to bring stuff back to NH) so I'll leave it to someone else to offer that insight.

    Not sure where you are in NH but if near Nashua, then head to Pepperell Beverage Alliance or Groton Market.

    Grabbed 2 bottles last week or so at Yankee in Attleboro. Not sure if it's around anymore, but I must say that this beer is fantastic. One of the best barrel aged stouts that I've ever had.

    A few places in that area received it: Cambridge Wine & Spirits, Pemberton Farms, and Liquor World at Porter Square.
