Not sure if this has been posted but clown shoes is now distributed in michigan. Discuss.
It won't be successful in my opinion. They're distributed through the state, and most salesmen only care about liqour. I don't even have a salesmen from that liqour company
Checked at all of the Kalamazoo bottle shops and didn't find it. I did hear that International Beverage in Gr. Rapids had some.
Picked up a Blaecorn Unidragon and a Porcine Unidragon after work. Kinda of pricey at $10.89 and $13.69 respectively. Hope they're good!
edit: Found these at Goodrich's in East Lansing
I've had a few and I think they're solid
Interesting. Didn't know this.
Any Metro Detroit availability? Paging Holiday Market Ashley.
Available at top shelf spirits in Belmont
Have not seen it yet. Not sure on which distributor is carrying it here, I thought it would be NWS, but they apparently don't have it.
Edit: Email sent to the brewery, hopefully I get a response soon.
Holiday in Canton got a nice selection in. Bombers and 4-packs, goin to sample a few tonight Chris at Holiday says its a small wholesaler and not many accounts will get distro.
Has anyone seen these beers in Oakland County? Hopefully this isn't another Sixpoint situation
GR has a few shops with about seven varieties, anyone had any yet? Ive got a tight beer budget for the next month...
Yeah, what the hell happened to six point? I meant to get Resin when it was here and missed my chance.
Saw that Northville and Dearborn got it.
Anyone see this around Livingston or Oakland counties?
Seen Clown Shoes brews at Imperial Beverage and Smittys in the Grand Rapids area today. Picked up some Hoppy Feet to try them out.
Did they have Vampire Slayer?
they should, all the other stores here in GR area have it. also have porcine unidragon!
Don't think I saw it in either store.
Any one find out which Distro is bringing this into the state? If it's Great Lakes Wine and Spirits, I won't even think about picking them up...
Thank you Michigan....for continuing to bring in underwhelming breweries to be distributed throughout the state so we can keep drinking all of the great Michigan craft beers that can be found anywhere!
yah ok that's why they have such high ratings, because they are underwhelming...
I've got a few 22's of their beers. Champagnes is having a clown shoes intro soon. Who distributes them in Macomb County?
just tried the porcine unidragon, very good! lots of smoked meat aroma with some vanilla and bourbon oak and it was pretty meaty on the mouth, good stuff!!!

Henry A Fox dsitributor
Any idea if/when you guys will get some in?
I had the Porcine a couple of days ago and it was great stuff. Awesomely thick mouthfeel. Excited to try as much as I can.
plum market ann arbor has everything right now. tomorrow we will get in porcine, crunkle and the pimp (brash collab imperial brown).
OK, I'm making a stand... Won't buy any breweries outside of Michigan until we get Ithaca here. Need some IPA's to finally get here rather than all stouts!
My thoughts exactly, michigan breweries are kinda lacking on world class ipas...
Working on it, we have had a bad relationship with that distributor, just have to convince my owners its worth it
Excellent, I need a few bottles of Crunckle
Just got back from the Plum market. They now have Crunkle along with all the others.
Thanks for the tip. Which Plum?
I have no relationship with them. Been open 3 years and had no idea they were servicing my area. Will be getting some in Frankenmuth in the couple weeks. They only come over here every 3 weeks.
I wasn't going to pick any up but... now apparently things have changed.
Good for MI - some of their stuff is pretty good.
What's goofy is that I live about 30 minutes from where it is brewed in MA and can't buy the stuff in my state, yet it can be found in Alabama.
Not really complaining - it's just, a bit odd (then again the state of NH is shitty to deal with re: beer labels.)
Agreed. What did happen here?
Ann Arbor on Maple.
