Saw a tweet from CBC Newton indicating it arrived today. Assume other drops are in process.

 

A decent amount of bottles on the shelf at Luke's in Rockland. I just grabbed one for myself.

 

Just picked 1 up at CBC Newton for $14.50. (14.50 for a BA Maple Stout?!?) Red stone had it yesterday. It’ll be around but seems quite limited.

 

Maaaannnn....want some. Live in Philly

 

One Stop in Haverhill got it yesterday.

Anyone try this yet? Is it as good as Breakfast Exorcism?

 

I prefer both Exorcisms over this one. It's good, I just thought it was a little thin. Would consider buying another bottle but if it's still kicking around in a few weeks

My niece found some for me for $12.94 + tax. I haven't tried it yet, but that's a great price.

 

Yeah I picked it up ~13 all told at the (old) Austin in Worcester. Were still a few more yesterday

Bomber poured into a chalice

Dark brown liquid, brown pencil thin foam layer quickly settles to a layer of brown foam, scant lacings

Aroma of bourbon, maple syrup, whiff of pipe tobacco, whiff of chocolate / roast malts

Very Sweet, maple syrup, bourbon,

Incredibly smooth, alcohol is deceptively well hidden, low sudsing,

Just rated Founders CBS, I like this better

Excellent beer, repeatable

 

Just tried my first one. Most noticeably is how smooth it is, similar to CBS. Nice barrel with a VERY minimal maple presence. This is absolutely worth the low price of admission.

 

Just picked one up at Oak Hill Bev in Scarborough, ME for $11.99, can get 2 of these for less than one CBS...bet it will taste close enough to be a great deal.

To tie this to another thread, for the fans they also had a buttload of Epiphany at $15.99/4-pack.

Had this on X-mas day. Was very smooth, not boozy at all. Sweetness was well balanced. Would have preferred more maple flavor, but overall pretty damn good.
