So Clown Shoes has released a good number of state specific beers - as in beers distributed to only one state - with more to come. I just picked up some Garden State Rhapsody, and I've heard great things!

    How many have you had?
    Favorites?
    Thoughts on what they're doing?

I had a Gargoyle Love Song, which was distributed in Illinois (maybe Chicago only?). It was a marathon at 14%. It made me really sleepy. I am quite happy I stumbled on a second bottle to have down the road as I enjoyed the cognac flavors with a big stout. This was a syrupy beer, too!

Garden state rhapsody was fantastic. Already bought 9 bottles (some going to trading partners but I loved this beer enough that some are getting cellared too).

I don't understand the esoterics of beer distribution. Why is Clown Shoes available in Hawaii, and I can't get Bells and a lot of other beers in MA

Does MD even have a state specific CS beer?

I want to see a brewery that brews a specific beer for each state that they are distributed in.

The only one I've had is the Good Bad and the Unidragon which is basically their Blaecorn Unidragon brewed with TX ingredients (or maybe just the malt, I can't remember). It's good. Supposedly they're barrel aging some. Definitely looking forward to that.

I got a "Good, the Bad, and the Unidragon". I know the dude who does the label artwork. He hooked me up with one. It was excellent. They are out of Mass, so I don't know as they do a Mass specific brew.

I didn't even know that they were doing this. Interesting concept. I'm interested in finding bottles for Maryland, DC, Virginia and Aizona.

I'm not sure what Clown Shoes puts out just for Ohio other than one, but I have had Ohio Unidragon.

Garden State Rhapsody is the only one I've had and it was fantastic. By far their best BA offering I've had and probably the best overall I've had from them.

I've had the Good, The Bad, and The Unidragon as a Texas state specific. Thought is was fucking awesome, great example of the style. Can't wait for the barrel aged version we're supposed to get in a couple weeks.

I am EXTREMELY intrigued with this one, and I will be buying two, one for aging. I think it's neat that they're doing this, and I hope they make their way through all 50 states, even if I only get to try "ours." However, that will take some doing and exhaustive creativity to pull that off without repeating or being "lame." Ball is in your court, Clown Shoes.

Just coming in that Garden State Rhapsody was amazing!

The rye really comes through and comes through deliciously. If you like Rye Whiskey, you'll love Rhapsody

A master list would be great for possible trades

Just tried one of my three Garden State Rhapsody's. Great stuff! Probably going to pick up a few more as trade material.

How would you describe the flavor that the rye adds? That was my first beer aged in rye and I've never tried rye whiskey. I couldn't "pinpoint" the flavor that I was tasting.
