The next Clusterfork is almost here. What are folks planning on bringing? I'm thinking about taking bottles of Boulevard Long Strange Tripel and Einer's Folly.

Do you have to be a RS member to attend these?

I plan on bringing a bottle of GI BCS Bramble, but not sure what else to bring. Can't wait it will be the first one. How does it work with the bottle share. Do we bring our own glasses, cooler etc? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You either have to be an RS member or ask an RS member to take you as their guest.

You don't have to bring your own glass, but many people bring their own glassware. You may want to bring your cooler to keep the beer cold!

I'm not sure what to bring. Anyone interested in trying B.O.R.I.S or D.O.R.I.S ? We might go the Framboise d' Amorosa release in the morning, if we do, we will bring a couple of bottles of that to share as well...

Thanks for the tips. To answer your question I would be interested in trying DORIS for the first time if that helps you decide which to bring. Looking forward to meeting some new friends and sharing some great beer.

B.O.R.I.S. and Framboise d' Amorosa both sound delicious.

I second that!!! Bring bothe BORIS and the Amorosa. I am briningSouthern Tier's Back Burner, Barleywine style ale, and mybe Olde Hickory Irish Walker, but that one is a barleywine style too, so I'm not sure. I also have a Smuttynose Baltic Porter, but it's brand new--maybe i should sit on that one. Any advice?

Small taster glasses are provided at the door and taken back on the way out or at the end of the clusterfork (3:30). Each attendee, RS member or guest, can bring up to 2 bottles each to share.

The highlight on tap (from those I talked to) was Sans Paigaie Kriek- also Otiose with guava.
Bottle highlights included Pipeworks Ninja Vs Unicorn, Veritas 10 (!), '09 Lou Pepe Framboise, Westy 8, Cigar City Bolita, 2007 Vintage Rodenbach, '08 Cascade Kriek, Kuhnhenn Cherry Olde Brune, Cotton, Framboise Amorosa, Kuhnhenn Pumpkin Braggot, Schaerbeekse Kriek, '09 Serpents Stout, Cigar City Humidor IPA, Saisons (I brought) aged in Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc wine barrels from Mystic, and plenty more. Ample bbq sandwich food plate.

Bottle share was great, as always. Thanks everyone - very generous. From the tap, standouts for me were Smoking Wood B.B. and Rye BAL side by side. I liked the B.B. paired with the Rancho a Go Go truck's pulled pork BBQ sando and baked beans. Nearly perfect.

Agreed! The Kuhnhenn Cherry Olde Brune was VERY intersting, as was the 07 Rodenbach, Bolita, and the Cigar City Dos Costas cedar. And the ( I think the guy said) it was a 2yr old Angel's Share from Lost Abbbey--FANTASTIC! Thanks to all for the generous sharing.
