I'm going on a busines trip the week after Thanksgiving and will be staying in a hotel by a restaurant called Portillos? Are there any good bottle shops right by there? Don't have much time and can't go very far as I'll be traveling with my boss. Any suggestions?

    Cheers

Multiple Binnys in all directions. Google Map it and see how far you want to drive. Algonquin is just down I-90 a couple of exits. There is one in Schaumburg that is adjacent to Rolling Meadows.

Oh, and look up Dobby's in Palatine. Not far from there either.

The Schaumburg Binny's is the best place, about 5-10 minutes down Golf Rd. There's also Sal's a bit closer a few minutes down Algonquin Rd, but their selection is much weaker (though they occasionally have some goodies...)

Binny's Schaumburg and Dobby's are both good stores nearby. Might be easier to go to Binny's - it's a straight shot west down Golf Rd (on the left just before Higgins).

Thanks everyone! What should I be looking for that I can't get in Colorado? I really enjoy sours and anything BBA (but always open to the locals suggestions). At any of thoese shops would I be able to find FFF or BCS var beers (ie vanilla, cherry, etc)?
