CO BA in Buffalo, Need Some Advice

    Everyone is sold out except for the Hess in Bushnells Basin. If thats out of your way, IMO dont bother.

    You may be a week too early as Village Beer Merchant is having a huge tasting from Victory including Yakima Dark on Jan. 31 at the Elmwood store

    I know the Consumers on Transit Road (near Klien) has Boltcutter still. Two bottles as of this afternoon and they have been there for a few weeks

    I neither live nor work anywhere near there, but I did just pick up a sixer of Sculpin at a packie called One Stop Brew Shop. Its 2 minutes from where I work. They also have growlers fills of Sculpin.

    Thanks for the help everyone. I was able to find a Jahva at Wegman's. Only ones I wanted that I haven't found are Mokah and Backwoods Bastard (other than BCBS).

    Has anyone seen either of those anywhere in the Buffalo area?

    Backwoods Bastard is still available in the Rochester area if it's worth the trip down the Thruway for you. At least it was last week - you'd have to call around to our good beer stores and ask if they have it.

    Yesterday the basin hess had backwoods bastard,founders imperial stout and sculpin-best by 4/4/13 in stock along with quite a few other good choices.

    Call the consumers in Niagara Falls..it is only about a 20 minute drive if you are up in Lockport.

    Thanks again for all the tips. Called a bunch of Consumers today and no luck with Backwoods. Oh well, pretty decent haul nonetheless.

    I'm staying near the airport tonight so I'm headed to Pizza Plant if anyone happens to be there tonight. Thanks for all the tips everyone. The beer scene here is pretty great, better than I expected. Almost unrecognizable from the first time I was here (2008) and even more improved since I was here last (2010). Founders, Ballast Point, Troegs, AleSmith and others are great out-of-state selections, and Brooklyn, Ithaca, and Southern Tier are some of my favorite NY selections, and we get none of them out in CO.

    Thanks again for the help. If any of you find yourself in CO, I'll be glad to return the favor and offer some tips.
