CO Barrel Aged Stouts

CBC2 is probably long gone from normal retail if Grapevine doesn't have 'em. Those only went to a few stores. Your best bet at this stage is a trade or a timed release from Grapevine or the B&B. I didn't notice any in the B&B cooler during GABF week, but they did have some Liquid Brain and CBC3.
I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine the next version of the Brain should be on the way pretty soon.

I think the best CO BA stout was just released this week. I love me some Brain, but that BA 10-50 is just OUTSTANDING. Stupid outstanding.

Yeti is $8.00 retail, that is crazy. What kind of crazy margin is that? That must be just under a 500% mark up. I'll Pass.

 

Not the same thing. Yeti is not barrel Aged, and usually costs $8-9. This version has been 100℅ Aged in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 12 months. It's different.

 

Doing the math out, it's about $1.12/oz . I'm so used to paying $1/oz for all of the Averys, another dime isn't that big of a deal. I just hope everyone else doesn't start to creep their prices up too.
It'll probably be $25 in stores, but then tax is added, so it'll end up being roughly the same anyway, but CO will get the $ instead of GD.

Got told by the bartender today that aha discount doesn't apply on to go beer.

 

Damn. Wish that was specified on the AHA website. It says "beer and merchandise". Obviously merchandise has to be to go, figured beer was too.

 

I know at the old place it was on everything including to go beer(kegs). I went by Avery today also and got told the aha doesn't apply on BA beer.

 

The AHA discount was mighty nice at OB's when they were selling BA Ten Tidy.

 

Just stopped by the Barrel Room at Great Divide. Was told no BA Yeti (in bottles) for another week....

 

Wow. They definitely had bottles there on Saturday.

 

I got the last 3 out of the cooler behind the bar yesterday.
