CO Barrel Aged Stouts

It was just so easy to drink! I drank many and the last of them a couple of months ago... It honestly wasn't holding up very well

 

$30??? That's surprising since the Barrel room had it for $28 and they are usually priced more then stores because they don't want to undersell them. I'll go to the barrel room and get 20% off with the AHA membership then

 

I saw BA Yeti on the shelf a few days ago at Argonaut and I want to say it was 26.99 but I could be off by a $1 or $2. Either way I took one look at the price tag and it was an easy decision to pass. I had it on tap at the tap room and while it's very good I don't think this beer warrants that price point imo.

 

Yep. That price includes tax so I suspect 27 or 28 without tax, but still...that's a lotta dough.

 

Joy's had it for $25.99 today. Cheapest I've seen it

 

Opened that '14 Snowed In last night and it was still very tasty. I thought I picked up on some Diacetyl at first but I think it was just too cold as it disappeared as it warmed. It will still a slight drop for me from fresh on draft last Christmas but I still really enjoyed it and so did @vitaminvert and @3bthero

 

J&K Liquors in Colorado Springs has 10 bottles left, and they are $24.99. I know this doesn't help anyone in Denver.
I ended up grabbing 4 total bottles from 2 stores. The new bottles are very hefty, the labels are beautiful. I can't wait to try this beer. I love Great Divide.

 

Okay, so I think this is the best thread to post this in.
Denver Beer Co just released "Bad Motorfinger" Oak Aged Imperial Porter. It's a collaboration with a Brazilian brewer. It contains Coffee. Pretty reasonable price as well, I think $9 a bottle or so. "Super Limited" release whatever that entails.

 

I thought bad motorfinger was made by our Mutual friend?

 

Looks like both were involved with the other Brewer as well. Guess I should've looked

 

Bourbon Cat at Cannonball is fanfuckingtastic. No growler fills though but you can come for the bourbon cat and leave with a PA#5 growler.

 

I found '14 had more coffee than '13, which means I drank it a lot quicker, not wanting that coffee to fade. I'm definitely looking forward to '15. I generally like a heavier barrel presence than CK usually goes for in their BA beers, but I've found Snowed In to be very good bordering on great so far. But I don't age it anymore, fresh is best.

 

BA Yeti was 24.99 at Wyatt's in Longmont. Limit 1.

I... highly doubt it. Very limited here and it sold surprisingly quickly given the price.

I stopped by Copper Kettle and inquired about Snowed in. $18.50 at the brewery on Black Friday, should hit distro the following week. I really wanted to try some beers at CK, but I was driving around Denver and I had already stopped at Comrade...

 

The barrel aged Great Divide stuff has traditionally seen limited distro across GDs distro footprint. I know BA Yeti has made it to CA already. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see it in TX..
