CO Barrel Aged Stouts

Also on the lower ABV side, I enjoy the Breckenridge BA 72 Imperial Chocolate Stout as it is lighter on the bourbon taste and only 7.5%

Recently had the Upslope Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout (Lee Hill #3) and wasn't bad for $9/19.1oz. can, probably one of the lower end price wise.

 

Wynkoop BA RMOS is also available still and is also in the $9 price range for a 19.2oz can

 

was on tap yesterday at Backcountry when. so was tilquin.

 

As of last Sat, Commodore was in Diebolt's taproom on tap and in 16.9oz bottles for $12. No growler/growlette option.
I suggested they fill the 64oz growler with it and call it Commodore 64, but it was a no go

 

I got to try City Star's Outlaw last weekend and was impressed being that is there first bottle release ever.

 

I have a bottle of the BA Yeti(2011) but I fear it could be infected.(Read the reviews) The fresh one I had was pretty amazing.

 

My 2011 BA Yeti was infected That was a harsh $26.

Epic opened a 2nd brewery in Denver over a year ago now.
They do different versions of some of their beers in Denver, namely BBB where they use local coffee roasters for their beans.

It's not bottled, but had Coda's Bourbon 180 Gram today. Very good

 

Did Great Divide ever do anything about these? For you guys personally or just in general to rectify? Just curious.

 

I didn't even ask since I bought it in 2014 during one of Davidson's cellar sales. Figured the statute of limitation was reached.

 

I have yet to see if my bottle is infected. I will know Sunday at our monthly bottle share meeting. And no, I won't Bitch to Great Divide if it is. 4 years after the fact. .

 

I wouldn't either, I just know that GD is a good company and thought maybe they did something on their own accord.
