Royal Oil was only sold at B&B and Grapevine.

I believe Royal Oil was a Grapevine exclusive, but I could be wrong. If not, it was EXTREMELY limited. LotLB is also very limited and may also be a Grapevine exclusive, but it will likely be more abundant.

Is Royal Oil all sold out then? (Sorry for the sidetrack)

The CBC beers are/were exclusives to Grapevine and Mile High. Royal Oil (I think) only made it to Grapevine. The Brain was distributed throughout the metro area, but typically sold out pretty quickly.
No clue how big the next batch of Brain will be, but I don't think they'd intentionally scale back. I dunno. I've always just bought my bottles at the B&B and Grapevine anyway.

Drank Reciprocal from 4 noses last night. Really dug it. Lots of milk chocolate and fudge, perfect bourbon presence. Good stuff.

What's the format for this badboy, 650 ml bomber?

Also, as of Wednesday night, Grapevine still had some Royal Oil (and a bunch of other good stuff).

Was it still for sale at the brewery in bottles?

    I got it at Hazels.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

I was at the brewery last week, and although I could see multiple bottles in the cooler door behind the bar, I was told it was not for sale at the time.

I had it on tap though, and while I did enjoy it, I won't be searching out a bottle

I am drinking that this morning. I can't say that I am a fan. Tastes too "milky" to me.

I picked up a bottle. I thought, out of their multiple BA Stout variants that best was "Darwin" which had yeast added while in the barrel.

So my wife and I watched the game last night at Diebolt, and I had the Commodore BA imperial stout. I had seen a couple posts on here about it, but I think it's still being VASTLY underrated after what I had last night.

It was downright delicious. Favorite local barrel aged stout I have had by a large margin (by no means have I had them all though). I would be interested to have it blind next to the big guys and see how it stacks up because I think it would surprise some people. I actually plan on doing just that with a BCBS, possibly for the super bowl.

Anybody else have similar thoughts or am I losing it?

Last year I had it on tap at the brewery and really liked it. Solid all the way around, base stout was full and rich, barrel came out just enough.
I bought 2 bottles and drank them about 3 months later and the experience wasn't nearly as good. 3 months shouldn't have done very much to it, so maybe the bottling was just off, can't really say.

I did just get a bottle of the latest batch last night, I might open it today hoping it matches my first experience.

The latest bottled batch is not as good as Bourbon County but it is a very, very good beer. I drank one and then immediately bought another bottle that I don't plan on saving.

Not sure where to post this, but A-Town pizza (the original location) has full pint glasses of DD Bligh's for $7. That's borderline cheaper than retail.

Wow that is awesome. The Old Chicago near me does close 12 oz pours for $6 but a full pint is crazy. Blighs is one of my favorite beers of all time.

How much are bottles and did they seem to have a lot left for sale?

22 Oz bottles were $14 at the brewery (+10% off w/ AHA) and when I told the bartender that I may be back for more, he replied with, "That's good because we've got a bunch of it"
