Hello I purchased a 2 tap kegerator made by VEVOR off EBay last year. Kegerator works great but the dual gauge CO2 regulator that came with it is junk. Would like to get a quality new one but not sure which to get. Looking at TapRite, Kegco & Spark products. Can anyone steer me in the direction of a good one? Thanks everyone!
Lots of us on this Forum use and recommend Taprite. My original TR has been in service over a decade and just keeps on tickin'. Micromatic also has a good reputation for their regs. I've used Kegco for parts but never their regs, so can't comment on them. If you are keeping both kegs at the same pressure (which is common) you don't need a dual body reg. You can get by with a single body and a "wye" output. This splits your gas into two lines that can be shut off/on independently. Plus almost all of these regs are modular which means if you need different pressures in the future you can add another secondary to the main body. Also, decide if you want a "barb'ed" ouput or a "male flare" output. This determines how your gas line is attached. Most retailers will ship a reg in either configuration.
