I'll carbonating an ESB in a keg this coming weekend. according to the Tastybrew.com priming calculator site, an ESB should have .75-1.3 volumes. I like lower carbonation, but this seems far too low.
The BJCP guidelines just say low to moderate...with the bottles versions being higher.
To what level have you carbonated your ESB?

For our 5% bitter, 2.5 volumes for keg and bottle. About 2.3 for cask but some of it blows off during venting so it will be lower in the glass, especially if pushed through a sparkler. 1.3 volumes is still basically flat. When I transfer beer out of a fermentor, its usually 1.3-1.6 volumes before even carbonating it--that's just from sitting cold with a little head pressure while dropping bright.

    Thank you!
I'll go with 2.5 as well.
