Planning my annual golf trip to Myrtle Beach in March and was curious if Boy King is available anywhere on the Strand. Thanks for any help.
Piggly Wiggly down past the airport had bottles when I was down there last May. Man was it good, the beer and the selection in that place.
They did a small batch back in October, so it's past its prime anyways. Next year, it will be in cans, along with Blackbeerd and Dead Arm Ale!
Piggly Wiggly will be your best bet most likely. They update their fb page (Byrd's Beer at the Pig) regularly will what's being delivered along with their taplist. Being as you are 3 months out I would suggest checking a couple weeks before you arrive. The COAST fb page posted a pic their draft/bottle board a couple weeks ago and still showed bottles To-Go although not sure how recently that batch was bottled. As with what @LancetherealLeader stated, cans will be coming soon. below is what to look for in the Boy King.The brewery mentioned in a recent update their new designs should arrive Jan. Did not see any mention of when they would plan on filling them for distro.
those cans are awesome. when i was at the brewery the staff had on some cool shirts with those colors. i wanted to buy one but they said they were for staff only. kinda lame to make the coolest shirt you sell the staff shirt. if someone hooks me up with one of those staff shirts i'll make it worth your while...
On my way to MB tomorrow, I'll ask the Pig guy on release timing. I don't see much Coast there to begin with, but I don't doubt that Market Commons would get their share for sure.
I go to piggly wiggly every week not sure I've seen boy King ..but worth asking for sure. If it is it's probably a bit old tbh.
