Was told Southern Spirits in Ft Mill would have very soon. Happened to be in Spartanburg yesterday drove on down to Greenville Beer Exchange and picked up a couple of four packs. Good Stuff!

Fort Mill/Rock Hill delivers today so they should be there on the shelf by the end of the day!

I don't know if it was drinking it out of a can, or the fact that it was only a week old, but HopArt was A LOT better than I remember it being a few months ago drinking out of a bomber.

I did notice that it had a spicier taste out of the can. Not sure if it is because of the can itself or because they recently switched to larger barrels in production. The last batch of Boy King was definitely different out of the new barrel system.

I'm not sure what yeast they normally use, but the one I had yesterday tasted like it was fermented with abbey ale yeast. Super fruity bubblegum and phenols.

^^^ I agree, far from my favorite HopArt - Very yeasty/fruity/sweet

Surprised to hear that. I thought they had a house yeast that they used for their IPSA's/pales. I'd be surprised if they just spontaneously changed the yeast strand on their flagship beer.

I'm wondering if I got the end of the tank or something, my buddy said the same thing. Was just in there yesterday, I'll ask next time I'm in.

The recipe does fluctuate, but like you said, I'm sure the yeast is constant
