Anyone have this? My bottle was sour, bad, and drain poured. Anyone have a better experience? I was looking forward to this beer when I purchased it.
That's unfortunate. I'm not buying any of the Cobra hype. People love that Kitchen Sink...I've never had it and I'm not a fan of the Dawn of the Dank. That last BA bottle they released was apparently infected across the board as well (I didn't look for one)...I think they said it was due to young oak of the barrels and to "let it rest in the bottle longer." Wonder what they will say about this one if it has issues everywhere?
Have not had Kitchen Sink either. But count me as one of those who does not understand the love for Dawn of the Dank. Pretty boring, one dimensional beer if you ask me. I expect way more complexity out of a double.
I picked up a bottle the other day, but haven't opened it yet - had it at Taps and Caps during their anniversary week and it was AMAZING.
Because it's true. Kitchen sinks are kinda gross and it makes it sound like they tossed a bunch of junk in a beer.
About to do some QC and check out a bottle. The kegs were all good though, I preferred batch 1 (2014), but it's definitely still good beer. Shoot any questions here/DM about cobra though.
