I heard Coeur d'Alene Brewing Company was coming back from the dead. I cant imagine it having a physical location for a while though. Check out Capones for a great tap list and pizza. Laughing Dog is brewed in Sandpoint and is all over CDA. Great beers for the most part.

Go down the road to Post Falls, hit up Enoteca, and wonder how such a good beer store can exist in the Idaho panhandle.

Perect idea. Russle is amazing, and they get as much/more Mikkeller then anyone in the US.

They had lots of the Cognac Weasel on the shelf there on Saturday. I didn't buy any ... I can't justify a $16 8.5 oz bottle, but it's cool to know that that sort of stuff is available in the Idaho panhandle of all places.

I agree with what everyone said about going to Post Falls and Enoteca and visiting with Russell and Sarah. They are currently expanding their store so some great things will be happening there. Between Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene a new brewery will be opening soon (I hope) Selkirk Abbey. Fred who owns Laughing Dog in Sandpoint is part owner of this brewery and their brews are sure to be good.

I guess my suggestions for exact places would be based on what you are wanting to experience and how far out of Coeur d'Alene you are willing to drive. I have a list
