As far as local I can get behind the shade grown coffee porter from real ale. Yumm

 

Had this on tap a couple of days ago and I have to agree...it was surprisingly good! I've never seen it it bottles around here (MD)....but I'll keep looking.

 

You would think huh? Starting to get frustrated with its lack of distribution in CO...

I'm still waiting on it to arrive in Austin. It's already been to Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and somehow Austin will be the last place to get it. I've been told we will definitely get it though. This coming week is the last I've heard for fellow Austinites.

Rogue Mocha Porter...well balanced. And definitely not a "beer flavored coffee"

Good stuff... and it's brewed with HARD CORE COFFEE. I mean, cmon!

 

Two regional coffee flavored brews that I really like are Highlands Thunderstruck Coffee Porter and Palmetto Espresso Porter.

 

This had a ton of coffee flavor.

Evolution out of Salisbury MD does Rise Up Stout made with locally roasted coffee that is the bomb for my money. Draft only soon to be in bottles.

Indeed...one of my favorite smelling beers too. Coffee hounds will certainly dig it.
