Like the title states has anyone else experienced lots of coffee grounds in a Beer Geek Brunch Weasel before? I bought a couple at a Whole Foods in San Jose and opened one to find a huge amount of grounds in it. This wasn't like the amount of yeast from bottle conditioning, but a good teaspoon or two of grounds. I filtered the beer with a coffee filter and it was fine after. Has anyone else experienced this? And would you drink the beer considering what the fresh beans go through?

sounds like they macerated the coffee in the beer on purpose. How did it taste?

The liquid tasted fantastic like usual, but there was so much grounds in it I couldn't handle it. I had to let it filter out over 45 minutes while I drank another beer... I'm worried because my other bottle has quite a bit of sediment in the bottom!

the fresh beans are not covered in shit when bought by the brewery. that's not how civet coffee works.

incidentally, they also source the coffee responsibly, which i find very impressive. most civet coffee is both fake and cruel.
