I have whole bean coffee and want to put the whole beans into the secondary fermenter. I don't want to soak the coffee in anything because I am cold infusing the beer with coffee and vanilla bourbon. Is there anything I can do to the whole beans to make the coffee flavor more predominant in the aroma. Cheers and thanks for the help.

I used whole beans in mine. Took 1/3c, did a super quick grind and put them in the fermenter. Easy. Great aroma, great flavor.
