I looked on their site and all over the packaging and can't seem to find what roasters they use for this beer. Can someone shed some light on this for me? I greatly appreciate it, cheers!

Have you been able to try Terrapin's Wake n Bake Coffee Oatmeal Stout? The most Coffee forward beer I've ever had.

If super coffee forward is something you enjoy, try getting a hold of some Oakshire Overcast, it is as coffee forward and delicious as any breakfast stout I have enjoyed. You will have to trade for it or order online, but it is well worth it.

Putting this one on my radar.

In my opinion, Victory at Sea is as coffee forward as you get, although its an imperial porter.

This thread is a lot more fun if you read the title as a news flash.

Oh, and to answer the question: I have no idea.

Some fresh Peche Mortel should be high on the "coffee forward" stout list as well. Outstanding.

Disregarding the actual question posted by the OP (I don't have an answer), and continuing with further unsolicited opinions on coffee forward beers, I am adding one to the list:

    Wolavers Alta Gracia Coffee Porter

    from founders website:

"Breakfast Stout (a world-class ranked beer on BeerAdvocate.com and a top-50 beer at Ratebeer.com) is brewed with an abundance of oats, bitter and imported chocolates, and Kona and Sumatra coffee"

Is that the answer you search for?

If you're looking for a great coffee forward beer, I'd check out Highland's Thunderstruck Coffee Porter. It's super delicious. They also make a nice Black Mocha Stout.

A blend of Kona and Sumatra sounds delicious. I enjoy a good cup of coffee too.

I had one last night and man, was it off the charts! This is one that floats on the border or porter and stout.

Back Country brewing has a very coffee forward stout, but Avery takes the cake with Tweak. That beer is coffee stout perfection.

Not currently brewed, but Terrapin's Depth Charge was essentially esspresso flavored beer....
