Just did some trades in the cold weather successfully. Obviously the bottles are damn cold....I think I know the answer. Does this mean the entire contents need to go into the fridge? Certainly hope not since I planned on aging some. Sorry if this is a repeated thread....searched and couldn't find answer
Only thing that I do, and I don't know if it has any effect at all- if a bottle is frozen I defrost it in the refrigerator before I put it in the cellar. I just dont want there to be a drastic change in the temp of the beer and possibly ruin it. Just cold bottles are fine.
What? Don't heat your beers. If you're going to cellar them and they are not frozen just put them in your cellar.
Johnathan, you can always just store them in my basement beer fridge. I'll keep them safe for you....
I don't know why I said before warming up. I meant just leave them out at room temp to avoid condensation before cellar. I would never heat them up!
