Cold Harbor Hazy IPA's

    Took advantage of the warm sunday and drove out to Cold Harbor. Snuggled underneath a building, it was a bit hidden.

    Small but comfy tasting room with samples of everything I asked for. Bought growlers of Willow Tree , their Dipa and Indian summer. Both are well made hazy juice bombs, not quite as opaque as Trillium, nor as tasty but they both are really drinkable and enjoyable.

    I will be visiting often this spring.

    I need to get there. I picked up a growler at VIN BIN of the Indian Summer and I thought it was pretty good.

    They're also coming out with a single hop session relatively soon, I believe they are using Mosaic. Should be another nice offering.

    I like how they have started. Their IPA's and APA's I have tried so far are very approachable and well balanced. Not quite as intense with flavor and aromatics as Trillium and Treehouse but very solid. I really enjoyed both porters I tried as well. Working only 10 minutes away will mean they will see my ugly mug a lot. Our good beer fortune in this State continues to grow.
