Just saw that they are currently at number 5 on untapped top breweries. I live 5 miles away and have never heard of them! Needless to say ill be looking into them. Anyone else live in the area and have the scoop on Coles Road??
They will be on Alcap Ridge in Cromwell, just off Sebethe Drive. Very convenient to 91 as well as 9. There is recent update in the breweries in planning thread. Sounds like end of the year for small batches. Two phase Kickstarter coming soon.
They encourage people to stop by their house during brew days (or they did in the past; may have changed now that build out has begun). Bring beer and they will offer their own. I assume they are also selling to those they know but that’s not publicly stated.
The current beer shares/pours are essentially invite-only. I've been meaning to get to one. I get the sense they've been a little harder to get in with the growing popularity. This past weekend, I had the stout they bottled. Very roasty, solid offering.
So i guess this begs the following question, how do you get an invite? I know where the current location is but not sure if they have open brew days and you just roll in.
Still invite only for shares on their brewdays. I understand it is generally mid day on sundays. They have plans for a taphouse, I believe they already have all of the permits they need
How do I get invited? I trained on Soviet whaling fleets (https://psmag.com/social-justice/th...rime-of-the-20th-century-russia-whaling-67774)
Last I heard they had a place but it fell thru ... They did do collaborations with Kinsmen and 5 Churches. Both beers were excellent.
Listened to a podcast interview they did at some point in 2018 and sounds like yes the first place fell through but they had since secured a new spot. Don't remember many details beyond that off the top of my head
