Do you really think it was the worst, or just not worth the price. I thought it was pretty good but would never buy it again at the price.

Stone's had some decent collabs. The more brown than black IPA was delicious, as was the El Camino (un)real black ale and a couple of others... However, they have also had some complete disasters like Saison Du Buff and the cherry chocolate stout.

Without a doubt my favorite was Ithaca/Ommegang/Captain Lawrence/Flying Fish/Southampton Super Friends. Only wish I'd been able to drink more of it.

Not the worst beer I ever drank, but the worst collaborative effort between brewers. Also, you are correct, it was way overpriced and disappointing because of the hype!

for anyone playing along at home, notice that this use of the word 'hype' was actual hype; sam adams had commercials about making "a new style of beer" ("kind of like champagne"), sing both breweries' combined 100s of years experience and considerable talent to make a celebration-worthy beer.

ended up an overcarbonated, boozy, bland beer.

I liked bell's/de proef van twee.... Baller stout seemed to be an overpriced mess.

Off the top of my head my favorites are SN/DFH Life & Limb, and Stone/Ken Schmidt/Maui Kona Coffee Macadamia Coconut Porter.

The worst was Infinium. It wasn't horrible, but an average brew overall and nowhere near worth the $.

didn't care much for Vrienden from the Lips of Faith series, good beer, just had a LOT of potential from those two breweries. Cherry Chocolate Stout from Stone and co was great I thought, especially when tapped on vanilla beans

Life & Limb is a great beer.

My favorite by far has been the White IPA created by Boulevard and Deschutes

    Most underwhelming = Infinium

I thought Infinium's 2011 batch was pretty damn good, but not worth the $20 I paid for it. But I'd probably do it again next year just for NYE.

I wonder what a collaboration between Budweiser, Miller, and Coors would taste like?

Life and Limb and White IPA were both really good collaboration brews.

Gave this one a go tonight. Out there, boozy and overly spiced. Major disappointment.

Well I came here to say more brown than black, but I think it's already been mentioned once or twice....

Churchill's Finest Hour... surprised this hasn't gotten a mention..? maybe it's not a collab between two breweries, but a collab of sorts nonetheless.

I also thought Biere de L'Amitie was nice -- I tend not to like St Feiullen or Green Flash's offerings, but I thought this one was worthwhile.

Flanders Fred, Collage, and Marron Acidifie are all very enjoyable. Wasn't so keen on Boogoop, but I thought Swingin' Harry was pretty awesome-the Grand Marnier aging is a nice touch.

I think the Citrueille Celeste de Citracado is probably the worst I've had thusfar.
