Not many people got to try it (draft only), but The Alchemist/Portsmouth Brewery collab Tarnation was superb. I also liked Collaboration Not Litigation and More Brown Than Black IPA. I guess the various Saisons du Buff were disappointments to me.

New Belgium/Alpine Super India Pale Ale is easily my favorite collab. So dank...deliciously fruity and hoppy.

I really like the Deschutes/Hair of the Dog collaboration. I know a lot of people didn't care for it but it really suited my tastes. Also loved life and limb.

This beer was SOOOO good to me! I bought 12 bottles and can't keep my hands off of them. 4 down and I hope the other 8 can make to to April 2013 when they say it is "best after". It's still on the shelves around town so I may end up picking up some more (as long as my wife isn't with me).

    Cheers to different palates!

The majority of the ones I've had, I've enjoyed.

I liked Sasion Du Buff, enough I sought out the other two.
    Huge fan of TBA.
Linchpin was good for what it was, not personally a fan of that style.
Infinium was one of the most rancid things I've ever had. I managed to choke down my share.

I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

Stone's collabs are always solid. Cherry Chocolate Stout, TBA, More Brown Than Black, etc. My favorite was probably that imperial black pilsner they made with Cambridge and Brewdog, I think it was.

Collaborations aren't anything special. It's just a beer that two guys made instead of one. Some are great, some are average, and some are crap.

The best one I had was De Molen / Flying Dog Bat out of Hell. Excellent stuff.

I was impressed with all the "Goops" from FFF/Mikkeller.

The question was do they live up to my expectations, and the answer to that is a resounding no. When two great breweries team up, I expect great working with great to make better (isn't that why we like the idea?), which I feel I rarely, if ever, receive. What I mean is that the sum has been, in my experience, never better than the parts.

Do we get a lot of solid, good brews: absolutely.

I haven't had too many of these, but Three Floyds / Mikkeller ``RisGoop'' was awfully good, as was DFH / SN ``Life and Limb''. I also have the Hair of the Dog / Proef beer called ``Flanders Fred'', but I haven't cracked it open yet.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon a Dieu du Ciel and The Alchemist collab at the Dieu du Ciel brewpub earlier in the year; it was an IPA called "Morality" and it was a tropical explosion. Pineapple, mango, guava, peaches, just all kinds of juicy fruit. It was so good I ordered it 3 more times :stuck_out_tongue:

I'm the opposite, I love Brooklyner-Schneider but I'm just so-so on Schneider-Brooklyner. The Brooklyner-Schneider might just be one of my favorite beers ever.

Bitch Please (Islay Cask L.E.) collab between Three Floyds & Brewdog (probably the best beer I have ever tasted)

Best Ive had was the Shorts/Half Acre Freedom of '78, that is just an amazing beer. The Jolly Pumpkin version of Sobrohumano is pretty good too.

I cant really say a worst I could though say BRUX was a letdown. I just suppose that after having Beatification I was expecting something more sour....
