At least it's better than people getting a beer and just standing there

The Summit County BA barleywine was real nice. Former Future's IPA was good, too. I actually didn't have a beer that was bad or blemished. It's sort of a different ethos at the Collab fest in that it's not a specific theme like sour, strong, session, etc, etc. We get a wide range of beers we don't know about. Signage would have helped, but I would prefer more focus on the collaboration effort itself; like a big storytime....with beer!
Where is that brewery? How did the two breweries come together? Where was the beer brewed?

I'm curious how you know what that would taste like and can use it as a comparison.

I went last year, it was a shitshow at the Curtis Hotel. Not a good space. If I wasn't redoing my bathroom this week I might have gone, but I'm glad to hear it improved from year to year.

It's usually butyric acid. It smells and tastes rancid and a bit like spoiled milk (hence the baby vomit). It isn't a bleu cheese or a funk, but something a bit more putrid. I definitely got some once from a non-sour/funky beer. There was another with so many things going wrong that I have no idea what the actual flaws were. Neither was the famed peach/pumpkin either. That one was as pedestrian as can be...but there wasn't anything wrong with it.
