Perhaps this is a silly thought, and probably more a of a fantasy than anything, but is there any chance we could ever see true collaboration variety packs? Not beers that are brewed in collaboration, but a mixed pack of independent brewers' normal offerings. I know the goal of cross-branding is typically to promote complementary products, rather than those that directly compete, but I can't help but ponder the possibilities. Such as a 12 pack of Commodore Perry, Head Hunter, and Bodhi. Or FIS, Expedition, and Plead The 5th. I imagine there are probably logistics hurdles and/or business reasons it won't happen, but I'd be curious to hear the opinions of those that have more insight.

I'm not sure the pricing would end up any better than just buying 4 different 6-packs at the 6 pack prices.

A lot of stores around here have a mix-a-six section. I doubt there would be any incentive for breweries to essentially create their own mixed packs with other breweries. As you mentioned, the logistics would be a nightmare. I believe SN had to pack every 12-pack by hand for their beer camp collab.
