Collage No. 1 drinking good now

I actually preferred it fresh. Not a fan of the vinousness that has come through with age -- at least in my bottle.

 

It was a mess!

 

This is one of my favorite beers. I find it interesting yet predictable that it is so polarizing (many people love it, many people hate it) - it definitely has a lot going on. I've had about 1-2 per month since it came out - personally, I thought it was awesome around January/February but is still great (and was great fresh). I'm sure other people will like it more as it gets some age and changes, and others may like it less, and others will never like it. Sometimes it's nice falling in love with a beer that not everyone enjoys.

 

I agree. I bought 3 bottles when it came out (price had me a little leary) opened first fresh and though I didnt hate it I felt a little too much going on for me to really like it. I am excited to crack number two in the next week or so and see how I feel now.
