    This thread delivers thoroughly.

I tend to drink all the 12ozs I trade for, while sitting on larger stuff to share. Cept for that BCBCS. I can't have that around because I just sip, sip, sip it all up.

Me too, bombers tend to sit, but I have no problem popping a BCBS or a KBS. I also have a BCCS sitting, but I'm not really into popping it right now and it's a newer bottle anyway.

I have the whole set of the Micky D's beanie babies if you are interested.
Please I really do, I need to get rid of em.
They just stare at me when I am sitting alone in the dark drinking!

"oh i'm saving that for that tasting"
"i'll drink this on my 30th birthday"
"oh i can trade this for other beer"
"i really want to share this with ______"

a closet full of beer later...

in all seriousness, i fully intend to drink pretty much everything i have. just saving it for the right day and right time.

1983 was a killer year. Seems a lot of BAs are turning 30 this year. We should just all meet up at some hotel in the middle of the country and wreck shit.

mine isn't until next year, but i would happily wreck shit with y'all.

my 30th birthday beer is bcbs rare, and if i can get something else really special for that day i'll open that too.

I remember when my "cellar" was two BCBS Vanilla and a BCBS Coffee. "I'll save these for a special occasion" made much more sense then. Now I have around 250 beers in my cellar (probably pretty far from even being on the top 100 here on BA) and there aren't enough special occasions to go around. I _want_ to drink it all, I _intend_ to drink it all, but somehow it just doesn't seem to happen. Trade partners ask me "So what did you think about that beer I sent you six months ago", and I have to go "Dunno, still in my cellar behind some shit I got in a package _eight_ months ago". It's sad and embarrasing. I should probably stop trading.

But not before I get that HF Biere de Norma. And that 1999 Framboos. And... who am I kidding?

I'm down. Hulk smash!!...wait that probably wasn't what you meant.

I need to get a bottle worthy for my 30th this year, I don't know what it's gonna be yet.

That doesn't work for cellar reduction. I attempted to have a 30th birthday bash to deplete some cellar. I made the mistake of inviting some BA's. I think I ended up with more beer than I started the day with.
