Colorado Goses?

Gose Gone Wild is brewed here even if it is from Stillwater. It's fantastic!

Also, Westbrook Gose just landed today and it's godly.

 

If you can catch Weldwerks Apricot Gose on tap before it's gone I would. It's been done at the tap room for about a week, but Roma Restaurant and Right Coast Pizza in Greeley both still had it on yesterday. I would guess it's still on tap around Denver as well.

 

I'd drink Wiley Roots Blood Orange Carousel Gose all day, every day. It has blood orange in the name, but to me it was just a slight citrusy twist on the classic salty gose. Dunno what their distro is like (their from Greeley) but I can get in at liquor stores in Boulder at least.

That's probably not what most people would say Greeley is known for...

 

Fate's Uror Gose is solid and widely available in cans. Also enjoyed Odell Brombeere Blackberry Gose, which may be seasonal. Favorite Wiley Roots gose was the Key Lime.

 

Wiley Roots Watermelon Gose was the shit too and I hate most watermelon beers...

 

Molly's in Denver / Lakewood has WR Carousel Gose bombers and they've been marked down to $6.99 the last few times I've been in.
Stillwater Gose Gone Wild and Grand Teton Gose are two of my other favorites.

 

Lots of the good bottle shops will have Perennial which makes some good gose/berliners. If you are into Gose I would also recommend funkwerks they have lots of light sours/tart saisons that are refreshing like a gose and are easier to find on the shelves.

 

I'd recommend Prehistoric Dog from TRVE. It's on the saltier side, IMO.

 

Skip from Wiley Roots here, glad to hear that you guys are enjoying our goses. We are excited to be releasing some kegs of key lime into distro this week; the first time it has left the taproom. There will be a few 1/6BBLs around in FoCo and Denver. We have been talking about doing another batch of Watermelon but no plans have been finalized. As for the price at mollys it actually isnt marked down, we try to get our prices on the blood orange gose bottles down as low as possible, accounts like mollys that buy in bulk are able to put it on shelves at the 6.99 a bottle. We ask all our accounts to try to keep it below 9.00, since its not one of our barrel aged mixed cultured beers. However, at the end of the day it is each accounts call on what the bottle sits on the shelf at.

 

Just a heads up that we aren't currently producing this beer, but it may be back in mixed-culture form next year....the winds of fate will decide. That said, we do have a dark gose, Starspawn, available.

 

This is awesome. Hope y'all keep doing what you're doing, Skip, cause you're doing it right.

The gose that Avery recently started canning is really tasty. And you can't beat the price at ~$10 per 6-pack.

 

Wouldn't bother me if that style gose away...

Apricot Gose is back on at Weldwerks. I just moved to Greeley at the end of June. I'll have to stop by Wiley Roots.

 

Verboten has a pretty good gose. The watermellon is fabtastic.
