I'm in Columbia, MD for a few days. Any recommendations on on good beer bars or bottle shops? Thanks.

Thats my hood! Frisco Tap House, Columbia Alehouse, Victoria Gastro Pub, Tbonz Grille for food and beers. Perfect Pour for an awesome bottle shop.

Yeah, well there is that... Then again I guess a premium price is what it costs for that selection... And no one is forcing anyone to buy at those prices. But I agree the PP's prices can be high.

Prices have been much MUCH better since they changed ownership, however anything rare or special, prepare to bend over. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the recommendations. Hit Perfect Pour and grabbed a few locals. Great shop. Plan on hitting Frisco's tonight. Looks solid.

Awesome. Glad that worked out for you! The Alehouse tonight (3:30 onward) has an Evil Twin tap takeover if you're still around. I'm usually there Thursdays, but I'm not drinking this week...well...until tomorrow anyway.

Very easy! And it's got a nice selection too, with pretty good prices.

The Perfect Pour is under new ownership and while they will certainly charge you $1-2 more on most popular items, what store doesn't these days? Do they "****" anymore, no. They used to sell Cantillon bottles for $50+ but I bought a 750ml of Geuze for $25 a few months ago. Be prepared to pay a premium because of the location/selection but don't worry about being "*****". That's absolute nonsense.
