I will be in Columbia this Sunday and Monday for my son's orientation at USC. Any good bottle shops downtown? What good craft bars are worth visiting? I have been to Flying Saucer and need something similar where we both can go for dinner and I can sample some craft beer.
Conquest Brewing Co. - the city's first and only production brewery - just opened down by the stadium and is a must-visit spot. They'll be open from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday selling flights, pints and growlers. World of Beer in the Vista has the best beer selection in town and some solid bar food. Bottle shop wise, Green's on Piney Grove is the best in the city.
