Columbus Area Homebrew Canning Event

The upcoming Summer Session event being put on by the Grandview Craft Beer Alliance has added a unique feature to the proceedings. Mobile canning company Buckeye Canning will be on hand to can attendees homebrew. Some of you in and around Ohio may know Buckeye Canning and that they can many Ohio beers including Fat Heads, Jackie O's, Elevator and Seventh Son among others. In addition to the canning, there will be session beers from 17 local and Ohio breweries, some of which will be small batch brews. The event takes place on Saturday, August 23rd from 3pm to 7 pm. Tickets are limited (especially for those who want to can their homebrew) and are sold in advance only. Total Bummer Alert: We just received word that Buckeye Canning's truck broke down today, and they will no longer be able to can tomorrow at The Summer Session. We've refunded the cost for the homebrewers set up to can, and the guys from Buckeye Canning will be available to talk about when they will be able to can your beer for free. Sorry to anyone attending to see the canning demonstration!
