My wife bought a discounted Groupon-like thing, and went right after work around happy hour. I hadn't been there for quite a while, and I was shocked.
    • virtually everyone there looked 60+
    • the place smelled like stale dishwater.
    • our food was boring and super salty.
    • my 3 choices from the "up to date" beer menu coincidentally all just kicked in the last few minutes.
    • the table next to us asked about beer, and the waitress referred to "our IPA."
THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH COLUMBUS BREWING COMPANY.

It's weird, like they're playing games. I don't get it... why not change your name? A few ideas:

CBC Restaurant, the home of Commonplace?
The restaurant formerly known as Columbus Brewing Company?
Hanging on to the good ol days, like most of our clientele?
    NOT CBC

With no shortage of places downtown with great food and fantastic beer selection, why would anyone support this place? It's too bad, because I think they used to do a good job and now it seems like they're not even trying.
