I'll be visiting Dayton briefly this week. I'm planning on going to Belmont Party Supply for the great selection, but I don't see Columbus IPA on their website. How far out of Columbus does this beer make it? Is it possible to find in the Dayton area?

I can't say for certain on Dayton, but the only place I personally have seen it, is in Columbus.

(I'm in Findlay, about ~2hrs from Columbus. Never seen it here or in Toledo)

Make the drive to Columbus if you can. I don't think it comes that far west.

Thanks for the heads up. No way I'll be able to make the drive, but I'm sure Dayton has plenty to choose from.

Yeah, the rule of thumb with Columbus IPA is that they distribute to the Columbus beltway and that's about it.

Awesome avatar btw OP, that's making me thirsty for one of my favorite RIS and it isn't even noon. Thanks for that.

There is no Columbus IPA in Dayton, unfortunately.

Dayton does have White Rajah and Sculpin, though. Both are amazing IPAs

Columbus IPA is in Columbus (everywhere) and in many of the better bars in Cleveland (draft only atm though). Even with the brewery's anticipated growth this year and next (new equipment on the way) they will likely still wind up struggling to meet demand in NE Ohio once the beer starts getting around more. You never do know, but it'll likely be at least 2 years before we can expect the see their beer statewide.

I'm sure you'll find some good stuff in Dayton though.

It's available in Marion sometimes, and Mansfield, so it's made it that far. Never seen it further north than that.

It has been available in bottles in Cleveland for a few weeks now. Joy to the world!

Thanks, and my pleasure. That was how I spent the afternoon on Hunahpu's Day. Glorious!

Picked up some of both this evening. Along with Old 21, Red Eye PA, Speedway Stout, and other great stuff.

Can anyone direct me to any bottle shops in Dayton that carry Three Floyd's besides Belmont Party Supply? I checked Liquor & Wine Warehouse and the guys there had never heard of them :-/

I was told by tthe brewery that a spare pallet or two made its way up north, but that a regular stream of bottles isn't planned for some time. It is possible that has changed or maybe the distibutor did that on their own, but I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet...

I believe you, but I am just saying that I've had no problem finding both Summer Teeth and IPA the last few weeks. Tony told me it would be somewhat limited for now, but Lizardville still has plenty and Rozi's has gotten 2 or so shipments, though it's all gone there now. I was out on the east side last weekend and saw the IPA at 2 different bottle shops. Even if bottles don't come around again for a while, finding the IPA and even Bodhi on tap has proven to be fairly easy (which is both very good and very bad for me!).

No doubt, the draft stuff should be easy, and they are definitely keeping their promise of making Bodhi available all year. Glad it is getting around so much up there.

Everywhere is pretty dry for Three Floyds stuff. It goes really quickly.

5th Street Wine and Deli in the Oregon District has some Rabbid Rabbit left, though

Me too man. The last month has been Bodhi-filled for me and I have no problem with that!
