I am going to be in Columbus this week. I already looked at some places. I really need 2-3 places that have good brews and food after work. I'm working in upper Arlington staying off high street. I am partial to Belgians, farmhouse or wild. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Where exactly are you staying? "Off High" isn't a great indicator of location as it spans quite a bit of Columbus. Fortunately, most anywhere you stay off high will have some good options.
Bodegas (3rd and High): wanna say 30+ taps, great food, plenty of Belgians/wilds in bottles too. 1/2 price draft HH Yellow Brick Pizza (east of downtown): "only" a dozen taps, typically phenomenal tho, awesome pizza, 1/2 price draft HH, The Tavern across street has great pub food if u don't want pizza World of Beer Brewery District (just south of downtown): food is "delivery" from a choice of local restaurants, should have Belgians covered, 50+ taps, Columbus Brewing nearby has stellar food (& ridiculous IPAs) Short North spots...lots of good little joints, walkable in good weather: Bernard's, Betty's, Surly girl, Barleys Brewing, House Beer etc...just ask The newish Daily Growler in UA may be worth a stop too...just beer. Enjoy!

If your staying by high street, i'd recommend 4th street bar. They have 55+ taps, happy is is 3-9 mon through friday, awesome beers on tap (imperial biscotti break, 4.01.13, backwoods bastard, mutliple brothers drake meads, etc) and they are all half off. More college kids than anything, but thats to be expected in the middle of a campus bar. Highly recommended.
