coming soon: bells barrel aged batch 9000

The BA 9000 bottle we opened tasted much different from what I remember on tap... bottle was leaps and bounds better. The bottle was more bourbon forward and really blew my hair back. BA Cherry Stout at the fall festival was pretty amazing and I found myself enjoying about 6-8 full pours over both days. I only had one pour of BA 9000 each day. I hope the Cherry Stout bottles are just as tasty as it was at the fest. Perfect amount of barrel along with tart cherry. It was out of this world.

 

Just a quick confirmation that the BA 9k is long gone? No point in sending my parents down from Plainwell? That's what I get for being off BA for so long....

It should be gone. I called them on Saturday at 5 and they said it was just was out. Also, the guy above said he was told he got the last bottle from them.

 

I would call the General Store and check before sending anyone - 269-382-5712, but as I mentioned the clerk said we got the last bottles on Sunday.

 

Definitely gone. Stopped in yesterday on the way to Founders and asked just to make sure, said they had 40 bottles left as of Sunday but sold them all.

 

I debated weather to post this or not, didn't want to get people worked up....general store has a bottle of ba9k on shelf right now. I purchased two and left the "last one" for some other lucky individual. Can't wait to try it. Cheers all!

Lol surprisingly none. However, I bought some glassware after eating in the cafe and the bottle was gone and shelf empty. Maybe for realz this time?
