duchess de bourgogne is in LCBO now if you fancy it. I find it to be cheap as well. It's 2.95 per bottle compared to $20 for 4 in Florida.

Re: LCBO strike....I drink beer so that concerns me very little. Most of what I drink is brewery only. With the options that consumers have it will just teach the consumer where else they can go for what they want.

 

Re strike: I guess that means all the ocb they have on the shelves will continue to rot away...oh noes.

 

There is still the grocery stores as far as I can figure.

Bellwoods and Great Lakes are within a 20 minute drive of my work and I can hit Sawdust City when I head up north. Kind of puts in perspective how little I buy from the LCBO or Beer Store these days.

 

Couple mins drive from GLB here at Parklawn/Lake Shore where I live... close enough to Bellwoods (both locations as I work near the Hafis location), Burdock, Halo, Rainhard, etc. LCBO strike definitely has very little effect on me as well. No loss for me personally, and likely more gain for our local breweries if it happens. Sucks for those in the 'burbs I guess, though.

 

I got Exchange, Oast, Silversmith, Kame & Kettle, Bench, Brimstone, Niagara Brewing all with in 20 mins from me I'm safe. Collective arts and nicklebrook 45mins..glb is a hour

 

3 new Cascades and 3F Gueuze were online this morning. 3F is sold out and there seem to be a few cases of Cascade left.

 

has anyone heard if zodiak is getting distribution outside the GTA? I tried calling the LCBO that i frequent but they never got back to me.

 

I see it in Windsor, Waterloo, Hamilton and Peterborough. Nothing any farther East. Can be purchased online however.

 

There was some in Ottawa a few weeks ago.

I know Westy 8 was just released. But I noticed Westy 12 was on the LCBO site as sold out, Did I miss this? Anyone know if this was recently released as well?

 

Westy 8 released October 1st. There were only 6 cases of Westy 8. Sold out in the first day. Less than that of the Westy 12. They were likely imported by Espirit Agency, owned by Peter Lopati, who passed away last December, just like Alvinne and Timmerman's. Based on what his wife said on another forum all his stock was in 'holding' by the LCBO until it was determined how to proceed. The recent influx of their products makes me think they have started to proceed. Don't think we'll see that on the shelves again unless the Monastery need some massive repairs (the reason we saw it on the shelves of the LCBO back in 2013 (I believe).

I heard this year we will be getting Bourbon County. We shall see how that goes
