Hey peeps in KC, I need a little help. I'm coming to KC this Friday and my schedule is pretty open. My friends aren't huge craft guys but are always open to anything and we need suggestions.

Are there any events going on this weekend? Special tappings? It sucks Foundry didn't get Zwanze again this year :slight_frown:

Also, any new shops I should check out? My bud I'm staying with lives in Waldo so hopefully something close to him. I've been to Berbiglia and Beer Cave and wasn't impressed by either. Probably hit up Bier Station but they don't seem to get much stuff we don't get in StL

Feel free to respond here or BM me. Thanks!!

I dont know of any special tappings, but Ill look and make sure. If you will be in waldo you should hit up Waldo Pizza, they have nice tap list most of the time. As far as getting beer you cant get in StL, I dont know. Berbiglia is shit, try Mikes liquor in waldo (85th).Go south and hit up Martin City Brewing Co. Westport is always a good place to go, all in one block is McCoys Brewery, The Foundry, Beer Kitchen.

It's not in Waldo, but Anton's Taproom on Main Street is worth checking out. They have around 60 taps I believe, and a nice menu (as well as butcher shop, tilapia fish farm in the basement, and a beer garden out back). I can't wait to go back.

Believe me, we are definitely going to Beer Kitchen. Great food but man the wait sucks!

Honestly, never been that impressed by any McCoy's brews
