Any tips on breweries, pubs, special events, etc.? Maybe even things that aren't beer related? Flying in today from LA and staying with a friend who is also into beer and has a car, if it helps. Thanks for the replies!
Check out Selkirk Abbey in Post Falls, ID. My best shot. I see they've greatly expanding their hours since the last time I was there. Others will weigh in.
Perry Street Brewing just opened last week and they have some great beer. There are tons of breweries in the area and some really good beer bars too. PM me if you have any questions. Do you know where your friend lives in Spokane?

What brewery is in Post Falls right by that Del Taco and Hammer coffee? I spotted it after getting caffeinated Sunday.
I like Ramblin Road best, but I also love Belgian yeasts. Perry was really cool. Such a nice space and the crowd was great. Beers were nice too.
