Comments enabled on BeerAdvocate articles

Another update that went unannounced was the ability to comment on articles published by BeerAdvocate.

Unlike a growing number of publications that are turning off comments, we embrace this form of discussion as it's been an integral part of who we are since we introduced forums to our users in the late 90s.

So @Mike and the rest of our team worked on integrating our massive archive of over 2,000 articles from the last ten plus years with our forum. And by putting them in a forum with reverse links, versus embedding the discussion on the article page, we allow the both the article and its discussion to maintain their own focus.

Since article comments launched in December, activity has been on the rise with some great discussions being had. We hope you'll check it out and join the discussions, too.
