    Hi,

I'm moving from Royal Oak to Commerce Twp in October and my go-to store to get beer is Holiday Market. Can anyone recommend a grocery store (or "reasonably" priced liquor store) with a great craft beer selection in the Commerce area? Ideally where someone even post new incoming beer on Facebook/Instagram etc.?

Also are there any great brewpubs or breweries in the area you would recommend?

    Thanks!

I'm not from the area, but pass thru on occasion for work and have noticed a few places that look like they would be nice.
CJs brewery on Richardson Rd across from golf course between Union Lake n Haggerty. Also there's Kickstand brewpub out there as well, not too far down the road on Union Lake just before Commerce Rd... I think?

There may be more as well.
There is some local liquor stores that say they sell craft but I have never been able to stop in n check em out. Can't recall their location off hand, I know Kego Harbor has a few craft stores. There's a nice store on Haggerty between Richardson n Pontiac Trail. Not sure exactly where you stay in Commerce but hope that helps some.

If anything jus Google craft stores near me. That always seems to work out pretty good:stuck_out_tongue::wink::sunglasses::beers:

Probably if you put "Commerce Ts" into the Places search City field you'll get something, but to get the surrounding area, if you use the Places/Nearby feature it will show you a map of everything in that area that is in the BA database. If you aren't in that geographical area when you use that feature, just drag the map to there and you'll get what you want.

Wolverine Lake Party Store and Benstein Liquor would be your best bet for stores. Neither on the level of Holiday, but both have decent selection for smaller stores. As far as breweries, I am partial to Drafting Table in Wixom, Witch's Hat in South Lyon, and Draught Horse in New Hudson.

Little bit west, Pineridge Market on Milford Rd, south of M59 has an outstanding craft offering, isles and isles! Bring your fat wallet!

Made the same move a few years ago. I'm on the southwest part of town, closest to Wixom.

Wolverine Lake, Benstein Liquor, both already mentioned, are good options for stores. Wixom Liquor is good too. If you feel like a drive to Milford or Highland, you have Pineridge Market, Colsanti's Market, and Holden's Deli have good selections.

You're much closer to Witch's Hat, so you'll make that trip a lot. I've heard good things about Draught Horse and Third Monk in South Lyon. We really like Drafting Table in Wixom. River's Edge in Milford was mentioned earlier. Palate is a great spot in Milford with regular beer events. Caya Smokehouse is a good BBQ place on Commerce Rd. We like Uptown Grille on Maple as well.

Most if not all of these are active on social media.

I think you'll like the area. If you search Wixom in this forum you may find the thread I started looking for similar advice.

As goast8127 stated "If you feel like a drive to Milford or Highland, you have Pineridge Market, Colsanti's Market" ---those two bottle shops get my vote.
