Community Proper Glassware Spreadsheet/Thread

Those were great glasses but I broke both of mine . I haven't seen them since like 07 or 06.

 

A brand new offering. Picked it up at the DuClaw Brewery Retribution release tonight.

Had this glass for a while but I have been having a hard time filling it with the right beer.

 

Haven't used this one in a while. Mainly out of fear.

I believe that this has already been added to the spreadsheet, but what do you guys call this glass?

 

It looks like a Collins glass to me, if it was a bit wider I would call it a highball glass.

 

I believe it's a stange.

 

Ahhhh...a stange. That helps. Any idea what purpose it has? Someone told me this is what they would normally use as a tasting glass at a brewery to save their more expensive glasses.

 

Most of the ones I've seen in the past have been coupled with pilsners so I imagine it's a smaller version of a pilsner glass maybe? Just an educated guess.

 

3F makes a Pilsner?

 

Not at all, but since when did that stop a brewery from using a glass for a purpose other than what was intended?
