I plan on entering a Homebrew competition soon and the application is asking for Name of Brew. Do I need to come up with some catchy name for my beer? It's a Vienna Lager, so any thoughts or help would be great. Thanks
I generally leave that blank. For some reason, I haven't caught the bug to name my beers, though I enjoy some of the names my friends give theirs. When that field is mandatory, I usually just come up with a play on the style name - 'Yet Another Pale Ale' was a recent entry of mine.
It can be pretty much anything. You can repeat the name of the style if you can't think of anything. Incidentally... It wasn't until I actually named a beer that I finally placed in a competition so now it's good karma for me to come up with a cool name.
