Completed 2010 Darklord Trades

    Trying to help out a co-worker who is looking to potentially trade his 2010 Darklord. What have people gotten in return in a similar trade?

    The one I got a year ago was part of such a large trade it wouldn't really be helpful to list as far as giving a value to the DL. But I can say that a 2010 DL goes for basically what a 2015 one would, which is maybe $20 or so of other seasonal or semi-limited beers. I could see it getting 4-6 Headys for example or some BCBS, Abyss, stuff like that. You might find someone who places a small premium on the age, but t's not going to pull anything too hard to get.

    I traded my last 2010 DL a bit before Dark Lord Day 2015 for a Marshall Zhukov. IP trade in Chicago for someone doing a vertical tasting at Dark Lord Day with his friends.

    I did this recently for two BA 18th st beers. Wasn't too tough to land. The harder part was connecting with people who had one. GL man.
